BTS member Suga celebrated his 26th birthday on Saturday by making a donation to a non-profit foundation that supports child cancer patients.

According to the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation, the singer donated 100 million won ($88,000) and 329 dolls under the name of his fan club "ARMY."

The foundation said Suga decided to do so to give back the love he has received from his fans. He is known to have designed the dolls himself.

"We will make sure the donation will be used to help the children," the foundation said.

This is not the first time Suga has given money to a charitable cause. On his last birthday, he gave 10 kilograms of hanwoo, prime Korean beef, to orphanages.

"우리는 이 기부가 반드시 아이들을 위해 쓰일 수 있도록 할 것"이라고 재단이 말했다. 

이번 자선단체에 대한 기부는 처음이 아니다. 그의 25번째 생일에서는 한국의 고아들에게 한우 10Kg를 기부했다.
