교생을 시작한 지 2주 차가 끝나가고 있어요, 그래서 그런가 점점 귀가 근질근질하네요. 약을 너무 팔았나... 여하튼 오늘 다룰 문제는 2019년 4월 11일에 진행한 고3 모의고사예요. 전부터 자주 말했지만, 앞의 문제는 전략만 가지고 읽으면 크게 난도가 높지 않아요. 늘 그렇듯 우리에게 필요한 건 약간의 독해 전략과 MSG 같은 추론 능력이지요!

[3줄 전략] [오늘 사용할 전략]

 

VIEW! 보기 > 앞줄, 뒷줄에서 주인공과 방향 잡기

1) 보기에서 공통점을 잡아, 지문의 내용을 추측해봐요

1-1) 공통점이 없는 경우, 각 보기에서 키워드를 잡아요

2) 두괄식의 경우 앞줄에서 목적이 등장해요.

3) 두괄식에서 이렇다 할 정보가 없는 경우 뒷줄에 목적이 등장해요.

 

VIEW! 특정 단어 등장에 주의!

1) 목적을 암시하는 단어가 등장하면 잠깐 멈추는 습관을 가지세요 

ex) want, ask, should, have to, must, ensure

2) 심경의 경우 형용사에 주의하세요

 

VIEW! 심경) 주인공이 문제에 언급된 경우, 주인공을 우선 체크!

As a lifelong Springfield resident who has two children attending George May Elementary School, I have spent a lot of time at the Springfield Park both as a youth and as a mother. I have recognized the need for upgrades that would enhance the lives of residents. The current park has outdated BBQ facilities and tables as well as a patchy and uneven lawn area that at most times is not much more than a mud pit. The baseball field and spectator area is completely worn out as well. The renovation will ensure that the children of our community have a safe place to play and engage in sports to occupy their time. I ask that you take the time to seriously address this issue.

-감정, 감정의 변화는 지문의 순서와 일치한다고 생각해도 좋아요! 

예를 들어 [화나고 당황스럽다] 라하면, 지문도 화나는 상황이 진행되고, 당황스러운 상황이 진행되어요!

 

 

 

[전략 2: 주인공을 중심으로 scanning 하기, 사건 사고, 형용사에 주의!]

2) 두 마리의 전갈이 그의 배 위에 떨어졌다.

 

-솔직히 여기만 읽고 답은 나와요. 전갈이 배위로 떨어지는데, 감동? 기쁨?  우울? 아 우울은 그럴 수 있다 쳐요. 실망? 

정답은 2번과 4번으로 일단 압축하고 다시 읽어봐요.

1) 주인공은 어찌해야 할지 몰랐다.

2) 그의 심장은 무겁게 요동쳤으며, 그는 움직이기에는 너무 지나치게 무서웠다.

 

-too는 "너무, 지나치게"라는 부정적인 뜻이에요. 

-심경 문제는 형용사가 key라고 할 수 있는데, scared라는 형용사: 겁에 질린 이 나왔어요.

-여기서 슬픔이 떠올랐다면... 더 이상 할 말이 없어요.

 

정답은 ② puzzled and frightened

4월은 3,6,9 정기적으로 실시하는 모의고사보다는 비교적 쉬운 편이에요
