VIEW!

VIEW! Scanning.

VIEW!

(문장 안에서만 발생하는 경우, ex: I hate you but i love you.)

The practice of medicine has meant the average age to which people in all nations may expect to live is higher than it has been in recorded history, and there is a better opportunity than ever for an individual to survive serious disorders such as cancers, brain tumors and heart diseases. However, longer life spans mean more people, worsening food and housing supply difficulties. In addition, medical services are still not well distributed, and accessibility remains a problem in many parts of the world. Improvements in medical technology shift the balance of population (to the young at first, and then to the old). They also tie up money and resources in facilities and trained people, costing more money, and affecting what can be spent on other things.

benefits  and losses  of medical development >> 얻고 잃는 것

inequality of medical  care around  the world >> 불평등함

constant efforts to fight off serious diseases >> 끊임없는 노력

④ endless competition to lengthen human life span >> 끊임없는 경쟁

pros and cons regarding increasing medical budgets >> 찬, 반의견

(S)/ (V)/ (O)/ (pre+N)/

The practice of medicine (S)/ has meant (V)/ [(접속사: O)/ the average age(S)/[(관계사: 형용사)/ to which people(S)/ in all nations(pre+N)/ may expect(V)/ to live(to V)/] is(V)/ higher (SC)/than(접속사)/ it (S)/ has been(V)/ in recorded history(pre+N)/, and there is a better opportunity than ever for an individual to survive serious disorders such as cancers, brain tumors and heart diseases.

(S)/ (V)/ (O)/ (pre+N)/
However, longer life spans(S)/ mean (V)/more people(O)/, [(분사구문)/worsening food and housing supply difficulties (의미상O)/]. In addition, medical services are still not well distributed, and accessibility remains a problem in many parts of the world. Improvements in medical technology shift the balance of population (to the young at first, and then to the old). They also tie up money and resources in facilities and trained people, costing more money, and affecting what can be spent on other things.

inequality of medical  care around  the world >> 불평등함 >> 구조 분석한 문장에서 등장 안 함. 탈락

③ constant efforts to fight off serious diseases >> 끊임없는 노력 >> 삶을 위한 거라 생각할 수 있지만, 주제의 방향은 역접으로 바뀜, 탈락

④ endless competition to lengthen human life span >> 끊임없는 경쟁 >> 3번과 같은 이유로 탈락
